The Prowlers have won 6 consecutive games since losing the opener to the Roseau Rams. On Thursday night the Prowlers faced a very skilled Bemidji team. Bemidji took the early lead in the first, but the Prowlers answered with two power play goals by Brady Johnson and Matt Audette. In the third, the Lumberjacks increased pressure on the Prowlers, but came up short losing the game 3-2. Beezer Skime collected the game winning goal, while senior goaltender Zane Gotheberg pushed aside 19 shots.
Saturday afternoon the Prowlers made the long trek to International Falls, who gave the Prowlers a close 1-0 game. The lone goal came from Ryan Crosson. Zane Gotheberg also picked up his first shutout of the season. The Prowlers face the Warroad Warriors Tuesday the 22nd at the gardens in Warroad. This will be a good test to see who sits at the top of section 8a.
